In Embarrassing and Life-Changing, Yoko turns eleven. She has a mom who is incredibly embarrassing, and a dad who is the kindest in the world—but he boils sausages until they burst, making Yoko feel ashamed in front of her friends.

In her night diary, Yoko writes about absolutely everything. She writes about her best friend Anna, who is adopted and so angry at her parents that she’s planning to move back to China; about Lena, Mirre, and Celina, who have started wearing makeup and seem way older than everyone else in the class; and of course, she writes about sweet Daniel, whom she’d really like to kiss.

Embarrassing and Life-Changing is the standalone sequel to Yoko’s Night Diary, which was published in 2014.

خجالت‌آور و سرنوشت‌ساز دنباله‌ای مستقل از مجموعه یادداشت‌های شبانه یوکو است که در سال ۲۰۱۴ منتشر شد.
